You are known as diwiesign. Is it a pseudonym and what does it mean?
Yes, I have published my works under this pseudonym. Maybe you have properly assumed a collaboration of my first and last name
"dirk" and "wiemer", the last missing letters comes from the word "design".
Why often looks your artworks so dark and morbid? Are your psyche endangered?
I'm really not as dark and dusty as my work indicates. Most of them are very special and for the unique purpose.
I just like dark and disturbing themes, but I do have a affinity for all art in general. So don't scare about
the often morbid style. Usually I'm a very joyful person, always thinking positive.
Show me how to do this/your technique in ...!
I like to help out where I can, have no problem sharing PSD files, stock photos, experience, and so on. But it is not my job to
teach you like a tutor. Be polite about it and you are a lot closer to getting what you want.
May I have your full address or private phone number please?
The location of my residence is private and will remain so. I don't mean to be secretive, but I do enjoy my privacy
and even more importantly the safety of my family. The same goes for my phone number, of course.
Can you help me with my project?
I'm so sorry, but I don't have time to help everyone with his/her project. It isn't because I do not wish
to help anyone, but more due to time constraints. I'm always involved in several personal
projects and just do not have the time to devote to helping everyone with their projects.

What exactly is this place?
My digital playground. A place where I can turn the spotlight on me, my works and just be who I am,
away from the professional side of things. This is just for me and to exhibit my portfolio a bit.
Can I use some of your graphics on my website?
NO. The graphics displayed on diwiesign studio are copyright by Dirk Wiemer unless stated otherwise.
Copyright is secured automatically when the work is created. Visitors may not use any images on this site
in any way without the emphatic consent of the webmaster. Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted artwork is illegal,
diwiesign studio reports all copyright contraventions to the local authorities.
Can I use your stockphotos for commercial purposes?
No, you can not. I don't make any monetary profit on the resources I offer to the public. I don't think
anoyne else should profit from them either.
I saw a beautiful font or brush used on your site or artwork, could you please send it to me?
Unfortunately not. I don't run a charity central, but maybe I can tell you the name of the used stuff.
What if I discover your artworks/webdesigns are somewhere ripped or misused?
If you think you see usage against the usage policy or theft of my works let me know. Use the
contact form and make sure your message contains the
relevant URL(s) to the suspected site. Please do not take it upon yourself to prosecute anybody.

I want to exchange links or affiliate. Is that possible?
I can't longer accepting each new link exchanges by email from those I do not know.
I want to better control those whom I'm affiliated with and this is the best way for me to do it.
You can still send me an mail containing the url to your website and the site name for link exchanges,
but don't be shocked and angry if you don't hear back. Keep in mind that I only accept design/art/photography
websites and then I'll only place a textlink or rarely your logo.
Just because you send me an email saying you linked my site does not require me to do the same.
You have an extensive link catalog at your page. Why don't all the sites mentioned link back to you?
By networked support, I don't understand interchanging links only, rather they all are graphic or
webdesign related in the same useful way, so I'll demonstrate my deep respect for giving me so much inspirations.
Can I link to your website or the subdomains?
By all means, go right ahead. Just remember that direct linking to images on my server and linking to my website are two very different things.
Will you reciprocate with a link back to my site?
Maybe I link back to a selected crowd of colleagues and only if what they display on their sites have some kind of relevance to digital art. It doesn't mean that I don't like you, your site or that it isn't good enough, though.
You used to link me. Now you don't. Why the hell?
It's nothing personal, I assure you. I recently deleted all affiliated links that didn't link back to me anymore. Maybe this was a fault by me,
please contact me again.
I have sent you an e-mail. Why haven't you answered?
I get a flood of (spam)mails every day, and as much as I try, I can not reply to everyone out of common courtesy.
I never answer correspondence for questions answered somewhere on this FAQ section. And I simply don't have time
to be all helpful and friendly in regards to teaching people how to create their own artworks, sorry.
